Currently, I work as a consultant for Sionic, a Dortmund-based smart window company with fresh new ideas for the field.

I have 20+ years experience in the field of development, production and marketing of dynamic glazing for smart windows.

I was co-founder of Berlin-based Gesimat, a company, which developed a large area electrochromic glazing with tungsten oxide and Prussian Blue as electrochromic films and an ion-conducting PVB interlayer as polymer electrolyte. This technology was sold to a patent fund.

At Gesimat, we also produced thermochromic sun protection glass based on Suntuitive® interlayers, switchable privacy glass (PDLC) and heated glass.

I also worked for 2 years (2018-2020) as an independent sales representative for Pleotint, LLC., the producer of thermochromic Suntuitive® interlayers .

In 2021, I was involved in the evaluation (due diligence) of EControl-Glas, Plauen, Germany, pioneer of electrochromic glass in Germany.

For more than 4 years (2018-2022), I worked as a consultant for ChromoGenics AB, an Uppsala, Sweden-based electrochromics company, also participating in the EU-funded Switch2Save project as CMG’s European project manager.

About 1 year (2022-2023), I was active for HIVISQ, a Bilbao-based smart window company. Here we tried to find ways to substantially lower the costs for electrochromic glazing by developing methods for atmospheric slot-die coating of electrochromic layers.

I offer my knowledge and experience in certification and marketing, in glass coating, glass lamination, switching protocols, trouble shooting etc. from lab to industrial size.
