Electrochromic compounds:
- transition metal oxides such as tungsten trioxide and nickel oxide
- inorganic complex compounds such as Prussian blue and its analogues

Thin film deposition:
- electrodeposition in general
- new method for large area electrodeposition of thin films onto substrates with high electrical resistance (patent)
Polymer electrolytes:
- ion-conducting PVB interlayer produced by extrusion (patent1, patent2), developed together with Kuraray Trosifol® (publication)
- UV-cured polymer electrolytes
Electrochromic systems:
